Please do not rely solely on Google Maps or GPS for the final part of your journey. Some routes may appear shorter but can be narrow and steep. We recommend following our directions for the safest and most comfortable route to VilaFoia.
Recommended route
Use our directions for the last part of your journey, especially when arriving at night or if you are not used to mountain roads.
Important: come through the village of Monchique. Do not use “Corte Pereiro” in your navigation system.
